Merry Christopherson
Heyy!
This week was wild, but a lot of fun! I just love doing this everyday more and more.
Twas a bit of a melancholy week cause tuesday morning we got some really sad and sudden news. Sister Montgomery has to go home early to receive surgery for some complications that happened from her wisdom teeth a few years ago, and she leaves pretty early tomorrow morning so today is our last day together
not how we expected this transfer to end, we're all pretty sad cause we've gotten so close and we didn't expect to have to say goodbye so soon!! But I'm so grateful I got to meet her because she has been such an example to me and I look up to her so much!!!

Which also means I have to drive now which also means I will have to parallel park which I FAILED on my driver's test and am only extremely nervous about.... hahahaha

The visitors center has been really really great!! Because its been so busy, we created this system for the vc to combat all the crowds and languages and give every single person a Christ centered experience at the visitors center still. It's been nutso but so amazing, even though it's been crazy we have already seen so many miracles!!
and now I also get to be comps with sister Davidson every night which is literally the best everrr.
Also the friends we're teaching are doing pretty good, but a lot of people dropped us or canceled this week so there's not much to report on.
So this week I've found myself thinking about living in the moment, and also waiting on the Lord. There's a scripture that has become one of my favorites out here, it is Alma 58:40-41. Sometimes it feels like thing after thing is hitting us down or coming our way making life feel a little difficult and confusing. Sometimes we may think we can't catch a break but I know that when we stand fast in our covenants with our Savior and Heavenly Father, when we turn to Him and let Him in and let Him lead our lives, He makes it a whole lot more easier. And that also means doing more than just the bare minimum to keep your covenants, go above and beyond!! Be "strict to remember the Lord their God from day to day" you'll find that peace and hope and joy no matter what comes your way.
Anyways, have a good week! I'm gonna go spend some time with Sister Montgomery so if I don't respond to any emails I apologize in advance!!
Thanks for all the support!!
Enjoy the beautiful view from temple hill
I have the best mission in the world
