Week 1! @home MTC

 Hello Everyone!

first week of online is basically over!! I had my last class Saturday night, and I'm just chillin today and tomorrow until I go to Provo for in person on Wednesday. I am so excited!!!! This first week has been super rewarding, uplifting, and so much fun!!


I couldn't pick my favorite thing about this week because there are so many! I LOVE my district, they are already like my best friends, so I am so pumped to finally meet them all in person. Serious powerhouse of spirits all of them its incredible. My companion is Sister Holmes, and she is just the BEST!! We get along really well, she is just awesome. She is like me, going to the visitors center so I am glad that I will at least have her that last week in the MTC when the rest of our district leaves to their missions all over the U.S. hahaha.... it's gonna be a sad day. I also have loved being able to be around my family still this week and sharing everything with them, it's really been the biggest blessing. 

a piece of advice my cousin Saydie gave to me the day before I started was, "Give 100% everyday, because 100% might look different everyday". And this became so true for me so quickly because Monday morning I woke up with a fever!!?!?!?! No bueno you guys it was rough, and at first, I was really grumpy about it hahaha but then I remembered what my cousin said, and I decided that that was my motto for the week because, I needed something to get me through!! I also asked Heavenly Father to give me energy and a clear mind to be able to learn from the spirit every morning before I started class, and it totally worked. Even though I was sick and had like raging brain fever fog I definitely could feel him helping me and I am honestly amazed by how much I was still able to learn and grow this week and fulfill that missionary purpose while being sick. and I think we can apply that to so many situations, not even just as a missionary!! so shoutout to cool cousins that give you cool advice!!

however, let's hope I do not get sick again for at least a loooong time:)

  Heyyy guys!  Still here in bezerekely just trudging, this week we finally found the great and spacious building! So many interesting things happen every single day  I've seen wayyy to many naked people, and heard wayyy to many gun shots.   Heyy! This week was wild, but a lot of fun! I just love doing this everyday more and more. Twas a bit of a melancholy week cause tuesday morning we got some really sad and sudden news. Sister Montgomery has to go home early to receive surgery for some complications that happened from her wisdom teeth a few years ago, and she leaves pretty early tomorrow morning so today is our last day together   not how we expected this transfer to end, we're all pretty sad cause we've gotten so close and we didn't expect to have to say goodbye so soon!! But I'm so grateful I got to meet her because she has been such an example to me and I look up to her so much!!! Which also means I have to drive now which also means I will have to parallel park which I FAILED on my driver's test and am only extremely nervous about.... hahahaha  The visitors center has been really really great!! Take me to Tonga

Hey heyy Oh my goodness!! What a week!! I think I've decided it's time for me to learn Tongan. Or Chinese. I've done a lot of interacting with both cultures this week maybe both!!  So, Tuesday morning we dropped off sister Montgomery at the airport, just me and sister Christopherson now. Idk if I've mentioned this before, but me and sister christopherson took over the social media page for the VC. So go check it out. Our skills are improving slowly but surely . We also were over a "sharing testimonies through music" event this week!! At the VC. So we've been crazy busy, but it's so fun!! So!! Have you ever seen the other side of heaven??
